There is a lot of speculation when it comes to the end times, so when you’re learning about them, it can sometimes get confusing.
If you’ve never heard of the end times, one could sum it up like this: the end times, or final days, describe the last moments of the world, or “the end of the world”. Depending on which religion you practice (if any), the actual events that will take place leading up to the end of the world will differ.
Are you interested in learning more about the end times and if we’re living in them right now? If so, we’re sharing everything you need to know about doomsday. Just keep on reading to find out more.
What Are the End Times?
Did you know that Jesus Christ described many catastrophic events that would lead to the end times? He warned of a Seven Year Tribulation that would mark the end of the world, and these seven years would be the hardest and most trying times Earth has ever seen. There would be famine, plagues, lawlessness, and false prophets.
Those who believe in God will be saved and will be called to their place in heaven, and those who do not will perish.
Signs of the End Times
Jesus Christ described many signs that would point to the end of the world and the Second Coming. Some of these signs to watch out for are as follows:
- religious deception
- false prophets and messiahs
- catastrophic natural disasters
- disease epidemics
- signs in the heavens
- persecution of Christ-followers
Do you notice any of these signs in the world right now? It may be time to get right with God and to seek refuge in his forgiving arms.
Are We in the End Times?
With COVID-19 and so many other concerns right now, it may feel like the end times to you. However, many strong Christians don’t believe we are living in the end times, and here’s why: there are no catastrophic events like famines, massive earthquakes, or signs in the sky. There is also no “man of lawlessness”, a false messiah, or world leader that has yet been revealed.
While it can’t be said with certainty, there are some signs of the end times that have yet to occur. So, until it truly is the end, love each other and love God.
Be Informed About the End Times
Thinking about the end times can be scary, but now that you’re more informed about them, you probably have a new sense of peace. While it’s not likely that we’re in the end times right now, it is important that you get right with God and seek redemption through Him. Good luck and stay hopeful!
