Richard Reid Fliehr and Kathleen Virginia Kinsmiller adopted him from the Tennessee Children’s Home Community and decided to name him Richard Morgan Fliehr. His adoptive dad was a doctor, and his foster mother was a starlet. He then relocated to Edina, Minnesota, with his young family, where he started attending Wayland Academy.
